Toda & Nel-lo expands its value proposition for its clients with the creation of a China Desk. The firm takes another step forward in this mission by creating a specific unit for the Chinese market, from which it will serve the needs of Chinese companies investing in Spain. The China Desk will also act as a hub for investments destined for other countries in Europe and Latin America, drawing on its international alliances. The firm aims to advise on M&A and regulatory and tax law, among other disciplines. In addition, the new Desk will support Spanish companies in their investments in the Chinese market.
To this end, Wenbo Zhou, a Spanish lawyer born in China that specialises in advising Chinese companies in Spain, has joined the firm who will head its China Desk. Zhou has extensive experience as a commercial lawyer and will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from Toda & Nel-lo with extensive experience in assisting foreign companies with their needs in Spain.

On the one hand, Lourdes Pérez-Luque enters the Tax practice at the state level (band 6), a presence that is completed with Manuela Serrano, the firm’s new partner, who has two mentions in Restructuring/Insolvency, both in insolvency administration (band 2) and in insolvency (band 3), being one of the most outstanding professionals at the state level in this field.
These individual mentions are in addition to the seven that Toda & Nel-lo already had, and which make its professionals benchmarks in their specialities, especially in Public Law, an area in which three of its partners are among the best, the largest representation of outstanding lawyers in the practice:
- Ignacio Toda, Public Law: Barcelona, band 1
