Javier Ramón, partner in Public, Administrative and Regulatory Law at Toda & Nel-lo, has contributed to the new edition of the Anuario de Derecho Administrativo 2026 (Administrative Law Yearbook 2026). Published by Civitas (Aranzadi LA LEY) and edited by Miguel Ángel Recuerda Girela, the work is a benchmark in the field. It brings together 56 studies by leading specialists on the most relevant and topical issues in Administrative Law.
In chapter 13, ‘La reclamación de fijeza del funcionario interino en situación de abuso a la luz de la última jurisprudencia de la Sala Tercera del TS. El ajuste o no a la normativa comunitaria y a la jurisprudencia del TJUE’ (Claims for permanent status by interim civil servants in situations of abuse in light of the latest case law of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court: compliance or otherwise with EU legislation and CJEU case law), Francisco Javier examines whether the Supreme Court’s recent case law is consistent with European Union law. The issue is highly topical and has significant practical implications for public authorities and their staff.
