Toda & Nel-lo Expands Litigation Practice and Launches Financial Criminal Law Area with the Appointment of Óscar Arredondo

Toda & Nel-lo, a multidisciplinary law firm with offices in Barcelona and Madrid, has announced the appointment of Óscar Arredondo as its new partner. A magistrate currently on leave of absence, Arredondo brings over 20 years of experience and specialises in litigation, particularly criminal law, with extensive expertise in financial criminal matters. He has a distinguished track record in legal proceedings at the highest levels of the Spanish judicial system, including the National Court, the Supreme Court, and the Constitutional Court. He has been involved in high-profile cases such as the Banco Popular case, Bankia’s stock market flotation, the Pescanova case, and the air traffic controllers' case, among others.

His areas of specialisation include advising on the liability of corporate governing bodies, tax offences, fraud, insolvency-related offences, crimes against public administration, and mismanagement, among others. In the civil sphere, he has participated in a wide range of legal proceedings across all instances.

Arredondo joins Toda & Nel-lo’s Litigation department as a partner and will head the firm’s newly established Financial Criminal Law area.
