Manuela Serrano appointed new President of ASPAC
Manuela Serrano, partner and head of the Restructuring and Insolvency Department at Toda & Nel-lo and a member of the Litigation Department, has been appointed as the new President of the Association of Insolvency Practitioners and Restructuring and Insolvency Experts (ASPAC). ASPAC is the leading professional association representing experts in this field in Spain and plays a key role in promoting the professional standing and development of insolvency administration and restructuring processes in the country.
Serrano, who succeeds Diego Comendador, will lead the association at a pivotal moment for the insolvency landscape, as the profession faces significant technical and regulatory challenges. Manuela Serrano has an extensive professional background in restructuring, insolvency and insolvency administration. With over 20 years of experience and a career developed at some of Spain’s leading law firms, Serrano has advised on the restructuring of major corporate groups, taken part in the sale of business units and acted as insolvency practitioner in significant national and international proceedings.
