{"id":379,"count":3,"description":"The Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance Law (Spanish Law 19\/2013 of 9 December) states the following as the fundamental pillars\u00a0for\u00a0any political action:\r\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 40px\">\r\n \t<li><strong>Transparency<\/strong>,\u00a0through the\u00a0establishment of\u00a0active publicity obligations.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Access to public information<\/strong>, which is regulated as both objective and subjective law with wide scope.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Good governance rules<\/strong>,\u00a0through the\u00a0establishment of\u00a0compulsory\u00a0obligations for public authorities and legal consequences, based on a penalty system,\u00a0for non-compliance.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nWith regards to transparency and public information, this Law\u2019s subjective\u00a0scope\u00a0applies to:\r\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 40px\">\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">All Public Administrations, state-owned enterprises and institutions\u00a0and\u00a0corporations governed by public law.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">Trading companies with state participation.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">Foundations from the public sector and associations created by the Administrations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">Political parties and privately held\u00a0institutions\u00a0funded\u00a0by\u00a0over \u20ac 100,000 are also\u00a0subject to the Law.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nWith regards to good governance, this Law\u2019s\u00a0subjective\u00a0scope\u00a0applies to:\r\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 40px\">\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">Senior officials\u00a0of\u00a0the Central State Administration and\u00a0institutions\u00a0from the state public sector, whether governed by private or public law.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333339691162px;line-height: 1.538em\">Senior or assimilated officials from the Autonomous Community and Local Administrations, including the members of the Governance Boards of Local\u00a0Institutions.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nToda\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Nel\u00b7lo\u00a0offer a comprehensive\u00a0consultancy service\u00a0to\u00a0Public Administrations\u00a0and other affected institutions\u00a0to aid them in\u00a0the implementation of\u00a0mechanisms\u00a0for transparency, good governance\u00a0and\u00a0public information\u00a0that will fulfil the\u00a0obligations established by the Law.","link":"https:\/\/www.todanelo.com\/en\/areas-practice\/compliance-en\/transparency-and-good-governance-in-the-public-sector\/","name":"Transparency and Good Governance in the Public Sector","slug":"transparency-and-good-governance-in-the-public-sector","taxonomy":"expertise","parent":349,"meta":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Transparency and Good Governance in the Public Sector - Toda &amp;
